As an Attorney and CPA with a background in financial services, Matt brings a strong combination of tax expertise, legal training, and practical business experience to his tax practice. His approach goes beyond preparing returns. By understanding how financial and business decisions made today can affect future tax outcomes, Matt helps individuals and business owners plan proactively, evaluate opportunities, and make informed decisions with greater confidence.
Matt received his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1999. He was licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio that same year. Prior to completing his legal education, Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Houghton College in New York in 1995 and has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio since 2003.
Matt lives in Columbus with his wife, Brooke, and their three children.
